Erika is blowing off the right coast, bringing damage and death to the islands. And your volcano. Hard to watch, especially with such a glorious connection. I am thankful Cotopaxi was calm while she was there. I wasn't prepared for an air lift. It is hard to watch natural "event" unfold and it's important to remember the impact across the miles. Thanks for the reminder.Vivien Zepfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10110439402332926588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16634800.post-91191410305773006312015-08-26T06:00:09.538-07:002015-08-26T06:00:09.538-07:00Very cool.. St. Helen was "doing anything," and my mother, living in Portland, had to sweep ash off her porch frequently.

My goodness, all those eastern Washington babies are 34 years old now!

Anyway, I'm not trying to minimize the dangers of Cotopaxi or your connection to it. I can easily see your sketch becoming one of your small pieces.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11509487491285800950noreply@blogger.com
