I think it's because of the concrete pad on which this house is built. It's not so bad at home with the basement. Although I am with you about warm feet in bed -- same kind of metabolism. Jer goes to bed warm and wakes up (at 6 AM) cold; me, I'm the opposite.

But then, I've always been dorky, so double socking is merely an extension of my normal being.Junehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00325386238844997236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16634800.post-40129850762480257472009-12-07T07:58:21.074-08:002009-12-07T07:58:21.074-08:00No, I won't wear these to bed, but they will m...No, I won't wear these to bed, but they will make sure that my feet are warm when I get into bed. I know...We need an IKEA here! I need those booties!
I know exactly what you mean about cold feet. The best things I have found, at least for wearing with shoes, are angora socks (mine all have holes now from heavy wear) and heavy polarfleece socks. Even better layered together. I got a pattern at Joann's and make the polar socks, as they are almost impossible to find in the deep south. Our house is up on piers due to the high water table, and the floors get cold on the first floor. It cot cold enough to snow here on Friday night.wlstarnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01170024789406711680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16634800.post-23890658459857376382009-12-06T23:28:21.416-08:002009-12-06T23:28:21.416-08:00So, you mean, you will go to bed with these "...So, you mean, you will go to bed with these "dorky" things on your feet?
