Eclipse

Did you see the eclipse last night? We were out and about. Drove across the city, went to dinner and back home and kept seeing different stages. At one point the waiter in the restaurant said, "goin' out to check out the eclipse" and he slipped out a side door. We waited for a report, but didn't see him again.

This was taken during the last stage from the street in front of my house. We had thought there would be a cloud cover and it wouldn't be visible, but it was clear as a bell. Cool.

  1. It was gorgeous here on the east coast too. There is some so awe-inspiring (literally, awe) about an eclipse. It makes me feel small in the universe - in a good way.

  2. We stood shivering outside on the deck and as the moon cleared the trees and the eclipse began, a bank of clouds fanned out over the sky covering the whole show.
    I went to bed.

  3. There I was all primed and ready to take pictures and show them on my blog but we only got to see brief glimpses as clouds were covering the happening.

  6. One of the advantages to taking the dog out for his last little piddle of the night was seeing almost exactly the same view as you have pictured here. No clouds in northeast Georgia that night!
