The roofers just came in to celebrate the completion of the roof job. It looks great and no one fell off the roof. The worst injuries involved hammered fingers, but not serious. Here are a few photos in progress:
Well done, all you intrepid roofers! That was no small feat. I remember the first time it was done and we all held our breath until it was finished and Dad and helpers were all back down on good old terra firma. Glad you all made soft landings this time, too.
Had I known that you had ties to such intrepid workers, I would have invited everyone over to help out with our roof. Yours seems to have gone very smoothly indeed. I could even make blueberry pies:-) Although my life experience with picking blueberries is that there are never enough by the time you get home to make a pie, regardless of what you started out with.
