OK, this is driving me nuts

I can see the cover of the new Quilting Arts magazine on the web site, but I can't seem to lay my hands on a copy of the magazine. There is an article that I wrote in this issue. All the subscribers have their copies and several have emailed me and left comments about my article. Since I don't subscribe I buy the issues I want. I have been to Powell's books nearly every day for the last two weeks and to Fibers in Motion a couple of days ago. Neither of them has the new issue.

Look, you can see the table of contents on the web site. That's my frog quilt! There's my name!

  1. Woo hoo! Congratulations! I'll have to take your word on it all because even though I'm a subscriber, I never get my issue until waaaaay later than anyone else (that whole military mail system and the Atlantic ocean and all).

  2. Congrats....thats so exciting...I sure hope you get one soon. BTW I can't believe the magazine didn't send you a copy.
Every time one of my quilts is published all the different magazines have sent me at least one copy of it.
I would write to the editor and request one.

  5. Now I have to hustle off to Borders to buy my copy!

  6. I went to the bookstore yesterday and they (borders) had no new issues of QA and when asked no plans to have the studios special addition. A shipping problem at QA or are the bookstores not wanting to carry her stuff now?

  7. Grumble. You should have gotten an ADVANCE copy! Anyway, I have my copy and your article is excellent. I haven't read it in detail yet, but the photos and the quilts look fantastic.

  14. Haven't seen a copy here in newport yet, but our quilt store gets their copies long before any of the bookstores or fred meyer gets theirs. Weird distribution system, I'd guess!
