So beautiful I could cry

And I did. This is a photo of the 12 x 12 quilts altogether for the first time at the Australasian Quilt Conference in Melbourne, Australia happening right now. See more on the 12 x 12 blog. It was the picture of Australian Twelve, Kirsty, holding one of my little quilts that did me in. The world just got smaller. Pardon the mush, but this just fills me with joy.

  2. It should fill you with joy. All of you are amazing, talented, artists. The things you make are one of a kind treasures. So wonderful and each has a recognizable essence of the individual artist. Can wait to see what you do next. Congrats on the show. It must be so great to see the work all together like that.

  3. The photos are wonderful; imagine the impact of seeing all your quilts together in person. I wish you and Gerrie could be there!

  4. It is one of my greatest joys in life, creating community through art. I participated in a 12x12 group piece that will be shown in Canada soon and it brought me such happiness What a beautiful show you have participated in. Congratulations.
